Elvis Andrus Baseball Heritage for Dedicated Fans
Elvis Andrus brought 15 seasons of Major League experience to the Chicago White Sox, arriving in 2022 after established runs with the Texas Rangers and Oakland Athletics. The longtime shortstop finished his career with 2,091 hits, 102 home runs and 347 stolen bases while appearing in 2,059 games. He also earned two American League All-Star selections during his career.
His time on the South Side included one of his more productive late-career stretches. After joining Chicago in August 2022, Andrus hit .271 with nine home runs and 11 stolen bases over his first 43 games with the White Sox, then returned in 2023 for his final Major League season. He played his last MLB game on October 1, 2023.
The Elvis Andrus T-Shirt gives White Sox fans a player-centered way to revisit the final chapter of an accomplished shortstop career. While his strongest franchise connection remains with Texas, where he started more games at shortstop than anyone in Rangers history, his two seasons on the South Side are part of the broader career that made Andrus a familiar name across Major League Baseball. His later recognition with the Texas Rangers Hall of Fame in 2025 adds another significant marker to that story.
