U4N: How to Unlock Every Garage Slot in FH6
Forza Horizon 6 is finally here, dropping players straight into a massive, neon-soaked, highly dense open-world representation of Japan. With more than 550 cars available at launch, your garage is going to fill up incredibly fast.
But if you are a hardcore collector, you will quickly hit a wall. In FH6, managing your garage isn’t just about hoarding cars; it’s about expanding your physical garage space, unlocking custom distribution slots, and earning "Display Car Locators" to show off your top builds inside your home bases.
If you want to maximize your garage space, unlock every slot, and build the ultimate JDM or exotic fleet without getting stuck, here is exactly how to do it.
1. Buying the Right Player Houses (The Slot Multipliers)
In FH6, your garage capacity and display slots are directly tied to the houses you own across Japan. While you start with a basic setup, you need to save up your credits (CR) to buy the properties that offer specific garage perks.
Two houses in the game are absolutely mandatory if you want to max out your display locators and slot distribution:
-
Hakusan Mountain Lodge: This is one of the earliest critical properties you can buy. Purchasing it gives you a passive perk that instantly adds +1 Display Car Locator to your main garage menu, letting you showcase an extra vehicle.
-
Vision House: Located later in the campaign, this is the big one. It costs a hefty 1,500,000 CR. Unlocking it maxes out your display car locators and grants the highest tier of garage slot customization.
To buy these properties quickly, you will need a solid bankroll. For players who don't have 40 hours to grind for millions of credits, looking for external progression boosts can save a massive amount of time. Third-party marketplaces like U4N offer a shortcut, making a fully loaded FH6 account for sale a highly attractive option if you want to skip the credit grind and immediately unlock the Vision House and max-tier garages.
2. Level Up and Maximize Horizon Progression
Every time you increase your Horizon Festival level, you unlock global progression rewards. Playground Games structured FH6 so that passive garage limit expansions are tied to milestones in your Collection Journal.
-
The Math: For every 50 unique cars you log into your Collection Journal, your global garage cap scales up.
-
The Strategy: Do not immediately sell cars you win from Wheelspins, even if you don't like them. Let them sit in your inventory until they register in your journal to help trigger the passive slot expansions.
3. Edit and Customize Your Space Distribution
A new feature in FH6 allows you to manually manage how your garage slots are utilized. If you fast travel to your home base and enter the "My Horizon" menu, you can select "Return Home" and open the garage customization settings.
From here, you can actually edit the space distribution:
-
You can manually add slots or delete slots depending on how you want to categorize your vehicles (e.g., separating Drifting, Rally, and Hypercars).
-
If you run out of physical room for custom layouts, the menu allows you to buy additional sub-slots directly using your in-game credits.
4. Purge Duplicates via the Auction House
With over 550 cars in the game, duplicate rewards from Wheelspins and Super Wheelspins will easily clog up 10% to 15% of your default garage real estate.
Regularly filter your garage by "Quantity" to spot duplicates. Instead of just deleting them, push them to the Auction House. Even selling a duplicate duplicate for a heavily discounted 20,000 to 50,000 CR adds up quickly when you are trying to save up that 1.5 million CR for the Vision House. Keep your rare, seasonal Festival Playlist cars, as those will become incredibly difficult to re-acquire later in the game's life cycle.
